The Montana Office of Public Instruction Prepares to Open a Competitive Application for
21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Funds
Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) receives funding which is sub-granted to local communities through a competitive process to run out-of-school time programs before school, after school, and during summer months. These programs serve participating students in targeted schools in the areas of academic support, enrichment activities such as music and art, health and wellness, technology and career development, and prevention and social skill development while engaging the families in this learning process.
On Tuesday January 30, 2018, the OPI will host a webinar to provide interested participants with information regarding the application process. Any non-profit, public or private school district, or faith based organization is encouraged to participate in the webinar. The information to access the event is:
