We would like to clarify the transportation claim deadlines, given the confusion with incorporating the June 8th due date.

As of May 24th, districts should have entered and submitted their Bus Route Reimbursement Claims (TR-6) and Individual Contract Reimbursement Claims (TR-5) electronically and sent a copy to the county superintendent. There is no change to this deadline.

As of June 1st, county superintendents must electronically approve transportation claims for the 2nd semester. There is no change to this deadline.

As of June 8th, the OPI will not accept any claim submissions or transportation adjustments.  All claims must be completed with approvals in order to receive a 2nd semester transportation reimbursement.
