MONTANA DRIVE SUMMER WORKSHOP – REGISTER NOW!
Register now for a Montana DRIVE one-day summer workshop. Plan to come to Lewistown this summer for a fun and active behind-the-wheel advanced driving workshop that improves driver skill and confidence. All drivers are welcome. Teachers can earn 10 educator renewal units or one college credit. Space is limited and workshops fill quickly. Register by March 5 for a $10 discount. Visit http://montanadrive.mt.gov for details. Teen Workshops are offered July 24, 25, and 26, 2017 and registration opens in late February or early March. Contact us if you want more information to share with your students.
IS YOUR TRAFFIC ED PROGRAM APPROVED FOR THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR?
Most fall courses have ended and spring courses are starting up. If you operate a late spring or summer program, make sure your TE01 District Application is submitted to the OPI for approval. The 2017 school year ends June 30, 2017. Summer courses that will end in July or August 2017 should be entered in the 2018 school year. Traffic Education Milestones will be celebrated at the 2017 Traffic Education conference taking place in Great Falls, noon on Sunday, April 23 through noon on Tuesday, April 25. MTEA is 50 years old in 2017 and is planning an exciting and informative conference for traffic safety advocates and driver education teachers. Earn up to 16 renewal units or one college credit.
