Our Roads, Our Safety - Art Contest for Kids in K-6th Grades

Road Safety Art Contest 2017

The U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration works to reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities involving large trucks and buses. In an effort to achieve that goal, they are proud to announce the official launch of the Road Safety Kids' Art Contest. Traffic safety is an important skill for all children to learn from a young age and this contest is a perfect activity for students across the country heading back to school soon. The contest is open to students in kindergarten through sixth grade and entries are due before September 24.

The Our Roads, Our Safety Partnership along with the Commercial Motor Vehicle Partnership will determine the winners in October. All 12 winners will receive a certificate of recognition and have their artwork included in the 2018 Road Safety Art Contest Calendar, which will be distributed nationwide.
