ACHIEVEMENT IN MONTANA (AIM)

FALL Program Participation Data Collection is due Friday, 10/27/17.

Please work on this data now to be reported to the OPI AIM system on time.  This includes student program data such as FRAM (free/reduced meal status), EL (English Learner, formerly LEP), Immigrant, Homeless, Gifted and Talented, 21st Century, Title I and Military Connected).  Districts should also verify their special education students’ ER’s and completed IEPs are locked.  If they are not locked, they are not seen/available to the OPI special education staff.

OPEN INVITATION - AIM Montana Edition Advisory Group Meeting

The next AIM Montana Edition Advisory Group meeting (formerly AIM Montana Edition User Group meeting)  is Friday, October 27th from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  Any/all Montana Edition district AIM staff are invited to attend. This is an online ‘Go to’ meeting, so no travel is needed.  (We do have a meeting room available if some would like to attend in person at the OPI Training Room, 1227 11th Ave. Helena.)

The purpose of these meetings is to increase collaboration and communication between the OPI AIM staff and the district AIM staff who do not use Infinite Campus as their primary student system.  Our focus is on the Montana Edition features of the Infinite Campus software along with state reporting highlights and ‘works in progress’ with the OPI AIM unit.  We invite the district participants to also add their ideas on what they want to learn about, so let us know your ideas by Fri. 10/20/17.  During this Oct. meeting we will have a featured visit from Mary Graff at OPI on the Behavior/Discipline reporting.  We will also have DJ QuirinMai from OPI to talk about the OPI snapshots process and how your data is reported to the federal government.  (A draft agenda will be sent in the email invite when you let us know you would like to attend.)

If you would like to attend (online or in person) please contact Candi Standall at 406-444-3495 or email her at cstandall@mt.gov, and she will get you hooked up!
