ACHIEVEMENT IN MONTANA (AIM)

FALL Program Participation Data Collection was due Friday, 10/27/17.

If you haven't already, please work on this data collection.  This includes student program data such as FRAM (free/reduced meal status), EL (English Learner, formerly LEP), Immigrant, Homeless, Gifted and Talented, 21st Century, Title I and Military Connected).  Districts should also verify their special education students’ ER’s and completed IEPs are locked.  If they are not locked, they are not seen/available to the OPI special education staff.

Also, your FRAM upload may need to be re-mapped after last weekend's update. Here is the announcement from Infinite Campus on that subject:

Notice regarding FRAM Eligibility Import
Published on October 18, 2017 at 12:09 PM MDT by Nola Peterson at Infinite Campus

To: Infinite Campus Support Contacts

Please note that upon taking Campus.1737.9, .1741.2 or the upcoming .1745 release, in order to ensure that districts are using Eligibility Import Wizard mappings with the latest USDA requirements, your district will be required to create (a) new 17-18 mapping(s) within FRAM > Eligibility Import Wizard. All previously existing mappings will remain present, but will be inactivated.

For districts who use scheduled imports, this means that your scheduled import will not run successfully until the new 17-18 mapping has been created within FRAM > Eligibility Import Wizard, followed by being selected and saved within your scheduled import located within FRAM > Eligibility Import Wizard > Scheduled Imports. Below is documentation pertaining to the Eligibility Import Wizard and Scheduled Imports:

Eligibility Import Wizard

Scheduled Imports

Currently, Direct and Certified Types cannot be mapped within a single Eligibility Import Wizard mapping which will be RX’d within a future release per SIS-110665. In the meantime, if your previous mapping contained both Certified and Direct Types, until SIS-110665 is released, setting up two scheduled imports to separate Certified Types from Direct Types will be necessary.

If you need assistance with creating your new 17-18 mapping for non-scheduled import use and are an ICU subscriber, please call the Fast Track to Training Line and a Trainer can assist you through this setup. If you are a non-ICU subscriber or are otherwise looking for assistance with setup as it pertains to scheduled imports, please submit a Support case and include the file(s) that you use for your Eligibility Import Wizard mapping(s) so that we can provide assistance.
