New method for submitting 21st Century data to the OPI

The OPI AIM staff have been made aware that the collection of the 21st Century program student data for the 2018-19 school year has changed.  It will now only be collected from the districts by the 21st Century Program staff at the OPI, via an Excel Spreadsheet. This means the districts will no longer need to enter this data by checking the 21st Century box in AIM/Infinite Campus to identify students who are in the program.  This data will also no longer be needed in the Infinite Campus upload process for those MT Edition districts who upload their program participation data. The effective date of this change is the start of the 2018-19 school year.

The OPI AIM staff will be submitting a request to Infinite Campus to retire/ghost the 21st Century check box from the student enrollment screen.  This means the historical data will still be there but the districts will no longer be able to make changes to that field  We will keep you posted as to when these changes will occur.

There are three OPI AIM data collections that involved this data item. They are: a) Fall Program Participation, b) Testing Window Program Participation and c) End of Year Program Participation. We will be changing the user guides on our AIM website that pertain to these data collections to reflect this change.
