E-Grants Logins & Passwords
As a reminder, the E-Grants security system now requires all passwords to expire and be reset every six months. Please see below for instructions on this process.
How to Reset An Expired Password
If you password has expired, please enter your existing password in the Old Password box, and a new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password boxes, then click Change. Please ensure that the password has not been used before, and follows the password requirements listed.
Do not click Forgot Password, or you will need to use the temporary password that is emailed to you rather than your old password.
How to Reset A Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password, please enter your email address into the login field and select the Forgot Password button.
The system will display a message notifying you that an email has been sent to you with a temporary, one-time use password. Open your email, and Copy-Paste that temporary password into the Old Password box.
Enter a new password into the New Password and Confirm New Password boxes. Click the Change button.
Your Account is Locked- Now What?
After a certain number of attempts to access E-Grants using an incorrect password, the system will automatically lock that account.
It must then be unlocked by OPI security staff.
