Big Idea #1: Beyond the Classroom Symposium
Beyond the Classroom: Building Montana's 21st Century Workforce Symposium, hosted by Governor Steve Bullock and the Main Street Montana Project, will be held September 21 & 22 at Montana Tech in Butte.
Focusing on using work-based learning solutions to strengthen Montana's economy, this symposium will bring industry and education together to continue to build Montana's workforce and economic growth.

Big Idea #2: Math Day at U of M
The University of Montana is again hosting Math Day to bring hands-on workshops to students on topics that are not usually included in the K-12 curriculum. All students interested in mathematics in grades 9-12 are encouraged to register for this event on October 7 from 8:30am - 2:00pm to learn about cryptography, 3D printing, fractals, the sizes of infinity, and more!
Participating students will have the chance to learn from professors, share lunch in the university dining room, and experience university life.

Big Idea #3: STREAM Recruiting High Schools
Standards-based Teaching Renewing Educators Across Montana (STREAM) has specific support for high school teachers that will increase your knowledge and skills about high school math content and standards, how to use Mathematical Practices, how to facilitate learning, and more!
