Big Idea #1 - STEM Scholarship at University of Great Falls

The University of Great Falls and the National Science Foundation are offering 4-year S-STEM scholarships to Montana high school seniors interested in pursuing careers in STEM. The scholarship is renewable and is for students majoring in chemistry, biology, or math. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2017. View the application packet here for additional information.

Big Idea #2 - Fire on the Page at MSU

Yellowstone Writing Project (YWP) announces its 3rd annual Fire on the Page conference February 4, 2017. Held at Montana State University Bozeman, YWP is a satellite site of the National Writing Project. The theme is “Listening to Student Voices” and there will be writing workshops for elementary and middle school as well as sessions on writing for social justice and developing powerful habits of a writing mind.
