Happy Spring!

The MBI Summer Institute online registration opens on Friday, March 31.  The 2017 Summer Institute promises to be better than ever with George Sugai, Co-Director of the Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, presenting the June 19, Monday morning keynote.  The title of this keynote is “Doubling Down with Prevention.” The purpose of this presentation is to highlight the defining features and importance of multi-tiered systems of support in the context of changing school climate and social norms. The need to increase attention on the preventative integration and implementation of academic and behavior supports for all students will be stressed.

Other sessions include suicide prevention and postvention, trauma informed practices, Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF), improving attendance, school counselor’s role in MBI/PBIS, creating Schoolwide Discipline Plans, and many more. Please share this information with your staff.
