Big Idea #2 - MT Wild Grant
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is offering Montana schools (4th-12th grades) grant funds to visit the Montana WILD - Education Center located at Spring Meadow Lake State Park in Helena. The goal of this grant program is to assist “outlying” schools (50+ miles away) to come and learn at Montana WILD.
Big Idea #3 - A Fun TED Talk and Litter Tracking App
TED Resident Jeff Kirschner created Litterati, an app for users to identify, collect, and geotag the litter they find. One teacher in the Lolo School District is using the app with her students and the students are having fun using the app. View the TED Talk by Mr. Kirschner, who discusses what the data users have collected shows about the world's trash.
