Big Idea #2 - Montana Authors Project
Humanities Montana is inviting school to participate in the Montana Historical Society's Montana Authors Project. The project creates actual road maps and literary maps as part of bringing favorite novels, stories, poems, and personal histories of Montana and its residents to life. Contact Humanities Montana to participate. Visit the Montana Authors Project to see literary maps of famous Montana-based books, such as Ivan Doig's This House of Sky or Norman Maclean's A River Runs Through It.
Big Idea #3 - Arts Transform Commmunities: Arts Integration Conference
We invite you to participate in an exciting event coming up June 27-29, 2018. Arts Transform Communities: The Montana Arts Integration Conference will take place on The University of Montana campus for an audience of educators, administrators, teaching artists, community leaders, creative thinkers and policy makers. Sponsored by UM Arts, MCPS and SPARK! Arts, we are joined by our conference partners Montana Arts Council (MAC) and OPI. This event is an opportunity to celebrate the exciting arts integration work happening in Montana Schools through the SPARK! Arts Initiative and MAC Teacher Leaders in the Arts.
