The Montana Historical Society is accepting applications for the 2018 Dave Walter Fellowship. The award goes to two Montana residents involved in exploring the local history of their towns, counties, and regions using the Historical Society’s resources. Big Idea #2 – Visual & Media Arts Integration Event
Join educators from across the Flathead Valley to learn about Visual & Media Arts Integration at the Elementary levels. This PIR session is Dinner, Workshops, and a "Trade Show" highlighting K-5 Visual & Media Arts Integration ideas. Big Idea #3 – New Virtual Class on Fake News from the Newseum
The Newseum in Washington, D.C. is offering a new free virtual class called “Fighting Fake News: How to Outsmart Trolls and Troublemakers.” The virtual class can be set up to match your school hours. The class is for grades 7 to 12, and a minimum enrollment of 12 students is required. Visit the Newseum’s website for more information and information on other virtual classes they offer.
