Big Idea #2 - Montana Arts Integration Conference

The Montana Arts Integration conference is June 27-29, 2018 at the University of Montana in Missoula.  This year’s theme is "Arts Transform Community." One of the sessions at the conference focuses on the collaboration between Ko Umezaki, a member of the Silk Road Ensemble, and their work with the Lame Deer School District. Big Idea #3 - Smithsonian NMAI Teacher-in-Residence Program

The Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) is looking for teachers to be part of their Teacher-in-Residence program this summer. Teachers in the paid eight-week program will help develop and test educational materials that inspire and promote improvement in teaching and learning about American Indians.
