Big Idea #1: Did you know that April 29–May 5 is Small Business Week?

Get your students thinking like entrepreneurs with this relevant classroom resource! In this Statistics in Schools activity “Adopting an Entrepreneurial Mindset – Using Census Data for Business,” students use the Census Business Builder tool to think like an entrepreneur. They will analyze data to consider whether to open a business in their city or town.

Big Idea #2 - PBS EdCamp in Billings

Montana PBS is hosting a PBS EdCamp in Billings at the Lincoln Center on Saturday, May 19, 2018.  The camp is open to pre-kindergarten to grade 3 educators, administrators, and pre-service teachers.  The event is free, and OPI renewal units and Early Childhood Education credits will be available.
