Big Idea #1 - Montana Career Lab contest
Are you a first through third grade teacher looking for ways to implement the Montana Career Lab's Careers Build a Community Curriculum? The Career Lab can help! The Career Lab is hosting a contest to help teachers implement the curriculum by giving $200.00 to help purchase supplies and other needed items. Big Idea #2 - 2020 Teacher of the Year Nominations
The Office of Public Instruction is accepting nominations for the 2020 Teacher of the Year. All active teachers who are making a difference in the lives of students are encouraged to apply. Nominations close Friday, May 3, 2019, with applications due Friday, June 14, 2019. The 2020 Teacher of the Year will be announced in October 2019. Big Idea #3 - Free Math and English Skills Prep for ACT
EdReady Montana prepares students for the ACT, other standardized tests, and college placement exams. Over the past 5+ years, hundreds of schools around Montana have used EdReady to prepare students in math from grade 4 to college. Full support for English skill preparation in grades 9 and up also started this past Spring and early results have been outstanding! Contact us and our award-winning, Montana-based program staff will visit your school and help your local team find the best fit for your program(s) and students.
The Montana Digital Academy offers EdReady free of charge to anyone in Montana. The program creates customized study paths for students, allows schools to create custom goals and monitor student progress toward mastery of the content. Professional development and localized technical support by the Montana Digital Academy also work to constantly evolve the program to help fit schools' needs. The program can catch and help fill gaps for students as well as save time and costs as they prepare for standardized test or college courses and career pathways.
