Looking Ahead to Content Standards Revision in 2018-19
Dear Teacher Librarians:
I'd like to invite you to share your ideas and feedback on any and all of the content standards to be considered for revision in 2019. I would also like to ask you to share these links with your fellow teachers. It is critical to the standards revision process to have expert educator comments to help guide the direction of our state content standards. Please know that these standards define what our K-12 STUDENTS should know and be able to do. They help us define the learning targets that our students need to achieve to be ready for careers, college, and community engagement.
Access content standards documents and other information on the OPI K-12 Content Standards and Revision webpage.
Feedback questionnaires and resource documents for the content standards revision process are open for the topics below. The information gathered through the brief set of questions will help guide the standards revision process. Please share the links with interested staff. The voice of Montana educators is essential to inform how challenging academic standards are defined for our students.
